Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Nacha...

Watch a video of adorable Nacha

Nacha is a quiet girl, extremely sweet and cuddly.  She loves being with her people and enjoys rides in the car.  She is housebroken and sits by the front door when she wants to go out. Nacha has learned the sit, and stay commands, and walks beautifully on a leash. As Nacha has shown some leash reactivity, she will do best in a suburban environment and no apartments, please. She is crate trained, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and is happy to greet her foster family in the morning. Sometimes she is a picky eater, and needs a little coaxing. Nacha is best as the only dog star in a family…but she’ll light up your life all on her own. Be sure to complete an application on line, continue to monitor our website for updates, and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
