Lily is a collie mix weighing about 35 pounds. I have been fostering her for a close friend who was supposed to take her in May, and has decided that he can no longer do so. And unfortunately, she can no longer stay with me. She is a quiet and loving dog who needs some space to run around. She loves to get pet behind the ears and is always up for a belly rub. She gets along with cats, children, and other dogs. She is fully house broken. She is up to date on all vaccines. Lola

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this dog directly.

Lola is a 52 lb 1 yr old pit. She was rescued from a terrible situation- including two weeks without food or water. She lived with a mentally incompetent person who never took her out. She is learning to pee and poop on wee wee pads and outside. We have brought her totally UTD on shots and she will be spayed in a week. We rescued this sweet girl who is great with other dogs, loves to cuddle and go to the park, and now I have discovered I am high allergic to her. I cannot take shots because I just found out I am pregnant. My husband and I are now living apart because I cannot be with this cuddle bug. If you would like a loving companion please consider Lola. Lola is located in Inwood, the upper part of Manhattan. To adopt Lola or for more information please contact Kristina at 914 374-1001 10/2018

Zephyr

Zephyr is a sweet, playful and loved 7 year old "mutt" who is in need of a new home. Due to family circumstances she is not getting the attention she needs. She is about 60 pounds, well trained and loves to be out and about. Her favorite activity is swimming but a close second is taking long walks and jogs. Zephyr enjoys visits to the dog park where she can run with her friends. She would make a great addition to an active family. Contact: Omar 914 458-4882 or zatariomar3@gmail.com

This is Jamison, a 2 year old 65 lb boxer mix. He is as sweet as sugar and just loves people. My son rescued him while in college and brought him home. I was in love with him until my allergies kicked in. Jamison is 2 yrs old, neutered, up to date on shots, housebroken, obeys commands and is a pleasure to be with. He likes other dogs (goes to the dog park) but prefers females. If you want a new best friend who loves to play and give kisses, Jamison is your boy. Please call me: Priya 917-640-1806 1/2018

Little Dog and Big Dog

Dynamic duo alert! This pretty pair of fawn girls is looking for their forever home together. These foster family favorites are sweet and cuddly littles who are confident, fun family members. They are smart and thrive on affection. They absolutely love lap time and snuggling with their humans--prepare for some quality time with these two! They are house trained and crate trained for nighttime. The girls walk nicely together on leash. They are cat chasers so we are saying no cats, although one of their foster cats loves trying to play with them. We'd love to see them in a home with knowledge of small breeds or a willingness to learn about this smart and lovable type of dog. Sorry, no little children but both are good with older kids. Dogs are currently being fostered at a home in northern New Jersey, happy to coordinate a meet and greet. Please contact Jennifer at 202.701.3790.

Flynn

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this dog directly.

Flynn is a 2 yr old sweet beagle. She is 30 lbs, doesn’t bark or howl and is spayed and up to date on all shots. SHe is full of energy and would love to play in your yard with your kids. She should be your one and only dog as she doesn’t like competition. She is fine at the dog park. I adopted her and her mother from a rescue that took them both from the South. She is wee wee pad trained and can easily be house trained if you are home. She will stay in her unlocked crate during the day but does not like being locked in. She is happiest outside chasing a ball, playing in the yard and cuddling on the couch. Unfortunately, I cannot keep both the mother and Flynn so I decided to give FLynn up. Please contact me by email if you are interested in this sweet, adorable ball of energy. Located in Westchester County. Contact MaryEllen at mecraven330@gmail.com 9/2018

Logan

Logan (AKA: LT) Is a two -year old mixed breed who was rescued from the Cayman Islands as a puppy. His breed is actually considered to be Pot Cake on the islands. Although we had a DNA test completed saying he is Greyhound, Staffordshire Terrier and Belgian Yervuren. He is a very sweet, loyal and smart dog. Unfortunately he has not been able to get past his fears living in the city’s chaos. He lives with my 75-year-old mother who has become anxious walking him which has only led to increased anxiety for him. 10/2018 He has been around my 3 year old child whom he adores as if she were his best friend. He is always in protective mode with my mother as he senses her anxiety; therefore he never appears calm, in fact refuses leash walks at times . In the suburbs he is a different dog filled with energy and love. We have worked diligently to help him acclimate to the city with no success. We are hoping to find LT a home where he can live free of his worries and connect with someone with whom he feels safe and does not feel the need to safe guard. He is house broken completely, knows basic obedience and manners, and has been very active running everyday with a friend who takes him, as well as playing in dog parks. He is up to date on all vaccines. No known medical problems. His weight is 52 lbs. A permanent stable loving home out of the city will allow him to feel more relaxed and enjoy life instead of fear it. Email Christine at ctriffonlcsw@gmail.com for more information. 10/18
