Sonrisa is a 4 month old female terrier currently being fostered in Puerto Rico. A family from Mamaroneck was transferred to Puerto Rico for a year and found Sonrisa in the middle of the road dodging cars. (Sonrisa means laughter in Spanish) She is active, loves to play with other dogs and likes to cuddle. She is only 11 pounds and looks like she will remain a small dog. She is totally up to date with all vaccines and shots. She is energetic and would do well with children over 6. She knows her basic commands like come, sit and stay. Sleeps the night in a crate. Izzy, is a pure breed redbone coonhound. She is 9 months old, 42 lbs, spayed and UTD with all shots. She is house trained and sleeps in a crate at night. This breed must have a fenced in back yard to run around and preferably another dog to play with. When she is tired, she loves to cuddle like a lap dog. Currently she is living with a family of 2 adults and 3 kids under the age of 5. A new job has changed the living arrangements at home and Izzy is not getting the exercise she needs. Flex is a beautiful blue purebred pit bull who is in need of a home. He has been with a family for almost 2 years that doesn't have the time for him anymore. He is very friendly, cuddly and energetic with a playful personality. He gets along with most dogs but would be best as an only dog in the home. He is neutered. Flex is very jumpy so small children might get knocked over. He needs some basic obedience but other then that he's great! He is fully house broken and crate trained. He would be perfect for an active family with older children, couple or single person who can give him the exercise and attention he needs. Sandy is a sweet 1 year old lab mix who lost her home due to a divorce. She is 40 lbs, spayed, housebroken, UTD on shots and very sweet. She is good with other dogs but don't know about cats. This beauty is a pure breed American Cocker Spaniel who is about 8 years young. He is an incredibly sweet boy who loves to be with people, loves to cuddle and give kisses. He will play fetch with a ball and then drop it at your feet to continue the game but is not obsessive about it. He sleeps through the night and is crate trained and fully housebroken.
