I am told I am the most adorable 5 year old dog and really good looking. I look like an Akita but am only 50 pounds, so no one is sure what I am. I do like dogs, and am a very friendly chap. Snow

Snow is a year old Am Staff who was surrendered to the shelter by a family that could no longer keep him. He is great with people of all ages, lived with other dogs, and does not even seem to mind cats. He is gentle and submissive with everyone (two legged and four) that he meets. Ruffo is a 6 yr old neutered Shepherd mix who was surrendered by family that is about to have another baby. He has lived with kids and probably understands Spanish as well as English. Belle is a delicate little lady with a lot of love and play in her! She seems to get along with everyone. She is small, somewhat dainty, loves affection and is up for any kind of play action! She loves to have her belly rubbed and will roll over if you even look like you might be willing! She does a funny "air bark" for attention.. Belle is a SWEETHEART who wants to be kept company and deserves a loving home. Belle is a spayed female about 2 years old , we think she is housebroken, good with kids, and other dogs... we are told she is good with cats but haven't had personal experience. Maggie is a wonderfully sweet and affectionate girl who just ended up in a shelter because her owner had to unexpectedly be hospitalized. She is spayed, up to date on shots and even comes with a health certificate that was prepared when she had to fly across country. She is housebroken and easy to live with. Her personality is calm, affectionate and she listens to commands well. She will take a milk bone gently out of your hand after you ask her to sit. Minnie & Mickey

Minnie and Mickey were found abandoned in Queens. Who can do to this to these two sweet pups in their adult years? Minnie is a female Shih Tzu between 7 and 9 years old. She is very sweet, she loves men, women and other dogs, shes been given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian, shes just very very skinny, and is now adding weight, and flourishing! Minnie's mate Mickey a Yorkie Mix (please see his profile too) hes about 9-10 years of age, he was also given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian. OMG Mickey is soooo sweet, he swats at the foster moms feet while she prepares dinner! he loves to eat.. he too loves men and woman and other dogs. Check out this mug! Barney is a two-year old Mastiff mix and just as sweet as they come. This 80-pound ball of mush loves everyone he meets. He is good with other dogs and people of all ages (he is kind of goofy so he might knock the little ones down and cover them with kisses). He takes his treats very gently and cautiously. Through no fault of his own, his previous family was no longer able to care for him properly so he ended up at here. He is trying hard to keep his spirits up as he sits patiently all day in his run, waiting for someone to stop, look at him and say, "this guy is for me!"
