CAT ADOPTION DONATION: Minimum adoption fee for kittens (too young to be neutered/spayed) is currently $65 + $35 for an initial total of $100.

is currently $100 + $70 for an initial total of $170. The $70 will be returned following receipt of proof that both kittens have been neutered/spayed at the appropriate age.
The minimum adoption fee for most of our adult cats, or older kittens that have been neutered/spayed, is currently $75. The minimum adoption fee for adult purebreds
such as Siamese, Persian, Himalayan and other “exotic” cats, including those of mixed breed that show the dominant characteristics of a purebred, may range from $100-$175.
The adoption fees for our not-for-profit organization are tax deductible and are used for rescuing and maintaining our felines until they go to their forever home.
Einstein(and his sister Twinkle, also posted) are the sweetest, cuddliest and friendliest kittens you could ever imagine! They are 10 weeks old as of 5/29/10 and a bundle of kitten energy. They love to play together, sleep together and have fun together.
Boots
Boots is a handsome grey and white cat, about a year old, with personality plus. Warm, friendly, easy going and sociable, Boots will make a wonderful family cat. Though he does get along with other cats, Boots will do best as an only cat who will be the apple of your eye.
Shana is a beautiful long haired tuxedo. She was a wonderful mom to a litter of newborn kittens that were not even hers and now she deserves a home of her own. She is very sweet and friendly.
Mike
Mike is a very sweet and beautiful boy! He is friendly and playful, good with other cats too. Almost the mirror image of his sister, Stacy, Mike is quite outgoing and will charm you with his antics.
Patty is a beautiful tuxedo, about 2 years old. This sweet, playful girl was given up by someone who moved into a home that did not allow cats. She is friendly with all and used to live with other cats.
Maddie
Maddie is a beautiful tabby, about 1-2 years old. She is very sweet and friendly. She has an adorable face that is hard to resist.

Joey
JOEY a lithe tabby was flown to Pet Rescue from California with his brother when the woman who rescued them from the street went to a nursing room. Joey needs a home with someone who will be patient and nurturing because Joey is shy but he does respond to loving attention. He gets along with other cats and would love to be part of a little group.
Finnegan (DOB 4/14/10) is an affection hog. This little boy begins purring the minute he is picked up and just loves to be cuddled and kissed. Finnegan likes his toys, wrestling with his three litter mates and is a funny, good-natured kitten.
Luna
Luna is a beautiful all white kitten, with deep blue eyes, approximately 8 to 9 weeks old and weights about 1.5 pounds. She's a sweetheart and a ball of energy, always enjoying new toys to play with (a simple ball and even a paper bag will be enough). Very curious and loves exploring. Excellent purrs and is often insistent on being petted and petted and petted. She enjoys playing with other cats (kittens and cats). She's a love and you will enjoy watching her grow into an adult.
Willy is a handsome grey tabby, extremely sweet and friendly. He is about 2 years old.
Pokey
Pokey, 5 years old, is a beautiful sweet bundle of cat. He was adopted as a kitten and for no fault of his own, had to be returned these years later. His trustingness and sweet personality shows that he had a loving home. Although he manages to coexist with other cats, we know that he would be much happier being a one-and-only.
Iris, a two-year-old bright calico (orange, white, and dark tabby) has enviable self-confidence. Having been abandoned on the streets does not make her feel any less of a high-born lady. When we put Iris' carrier in the group room, she didn't hesitate for a moment to step out to inspect the premises and the other cats. Iris may be too much of a Queen to be a companion for your lonely cat but if you want just one lively and affectionate friend, Iris would fit the bill.
Serena
Part of a litter of four, Serena (DOB 4/14/10)is a dainty lady who will curl up on your lap or chest for affection. This little belle enjoys her meals, playing, being talked to and having her long coat brushed. A bit shy at first, Serena is a beautiful, gentle kitten who would thrive in a quieter home.
Candy is a beautiful dilute calico, about 1 - 1 1/2 years old. She is very sweet, friendly and good with other cats.
Rayna
Rayna is simply one of the most beautiful calicos you will lay eyes on. She is a stunner to look at, and seems to know this. There is a little bit of the "princess" in Rayna, but fundamentally she is an easygoing cat who enjoys being loved. Alert and intelligent, she gets along with other cats and would make a wonderful feline pet for a single adult or couple.
Betsy is a gorgeous long haired beauty, about a year old. She is very friendly with people and good with other cats too.
Stacy
Stacy is a beautiful girl, about 2 years old, the sister of Mike. Very sweet & friendly, like her brother, she is a bit quieter but will quickly learn to snuggle up to you and show her love.
Lilly has been adopted and only Dublin remains available. Dublin is a happy kitten who loves to chase his toys. This little purr machine is a super frienly kitty who loves to snuggle. Dublin is in a foster home with children, other cats and dogs and loves them all. Dublin will make a wonderful family pet.
Shana's kittens
This litter of 5 male and female kittens are just about 8 weeks old. They are friendly, playful and happy little ones.
Val is a busybody, exploring every corner and every height. He came from a family of Van cats, a Turkish breed, white with black spots. Val does very nicely with other cats. In his time with Pet Rescue, this elegant cat has gone from being shy to enthusiastically claiming his share of love and attention.
Murphy
Murphy (DOB 4/14/10) is a curious guy who just has to be involved in all you do. He loves to sit on your lap and will nudge for attention. Murphy is very playful and can be quite a comedian. One of four litter mates, Murphy is quite a guy even at his tender age.
Tulip and Timmy are the sweetest and friendliest 16 week old kittens you will ever meet. They LOVE other dogs and cats so much, they will rub up against them and walk underneath their legs. They have gorgeous yellowish green eyes and Tulip has long hair and unique, faint white striping all over her body. Timmy coat is so sleek and shiny, just beautiful. Serenity
Serenity is a beautiful tabby female, about 1-2 years old. She is very sweet and friendly.
Roz, long, with an elegant Egyptian profile, gets along with everyone and keeps busy playing with toys and enjoying window views if she is not rolling over to be stroked. She will make a loving family companion without being over demanding. Roz was brought to us late one night after being taken out of a cramped cage in a NJ pound where she was not going to be given a chance.
Rosie
Rosie is a beautiful girl, about 5 years old. This sweetie came to Pet Rescue after her owner was evicted. She is a little shy and confused right now after losing her home but very sweet nonetheless. She would do fine in a home with other cats ( as long as they are not too bossy as that would overwhelm her).
Pearl (DOB 4/14/10) is as beautiful as a black pearl with her long, shiny, solid black coat which she likes having brushed. This charmer is sweet as can be and enjoys being gently fussed over. Pearl's favorite toy is a ball with a bell inside and she makes great use of her scratching post. Pearl is one of a litter of four kittens.

Snowflake a/k/a Reva is a charmer and a survivor. This little beauty was found on a Yonkers street, after having been thrown off a roof by some cruel children. Not only did she suffer neurological problems from this horrible treatment, but she was emaciated and covered with fleas and dirt. This tough little lady has recuperated beautifully, but still has the "wobbles", though she always manages to get to wherever she wants to go, including the litter box. Her impaired nerve condition will not get worse. Snowflake is enthusiastic about people and loves to play -- especially boxing. We're so happy that we were able to save this lovely, happy creature. Come meet her and we know you'll want to take her home.
Gracie
Gracie, now about 1 1/2-2 years old, is soft as silk and loves to be stroked. A truly independent feline with personality plus (and a mischievous streak), Gracie is energetic, very lovable and ready to be a great companion in a home with people who will enjoy her playful and affectionate nature.
